 दही बड़ा रेसिपी | Dahi Bhalla | HOW To Make Dahi Bade

Ingredients :

  • Oil for frying
  • Moong dal dhuli (green gram split) – 50 grams
  • Urad dal dhuli (black gram skinned) – 250 grams
  • Homemade ( you can also take ready made)Imli chutney or tamarind sauce
  • Red chilli powder – pinch of red chilli powder
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Curd (beaten)
  • cumin seed powder ( jeera powder ) – pinch of cumin seeds powder
  • Homemade(you can also take ready made) mint leaves powder – pinch of it

Preparation :

  • Mix moong dal and urad dal together and keep it soaked in water for 3 – 4 hours
  • After 3 – 4 hour grind this dal in grinder
  • While grinding don’t add too much of water,we don’t have to make it too thin
  • Now take out the dal from grinder and add 1 teaspoon of salt in it
  • Now don’t use spoon or anything,use your hands to beat the mixture
  • Continue hand beating till it gets soft and fluffy (5 to 6 minutes of hand beating will be enough)
  • Now to check whether our dal is ready or not there is one trick.
  • Take one small bowl , fill it with water and add one drop of batter or mixture in water , if it is floating on the surface and not mixing in water that means it’s ready to make bade out of it
  • Now heat oil in woke,fill it sufficiently with oil to fry our bade
  • When oil gets heated , take big spoon , make it wet with water so that batter or mixture don’t sticks on the spoon,and then fill it with batter or mixture and empty in oil
  • You can 7 to 8 bade in one time in woke
  • Because batter is hand beaten these will slowly becomes fluffy while frying
  • When bade gets golden brown in colour ,take these out they are ready
  • Now,before adding bade in curd soak bade in water(only soak the quantity of bade which you are going to eat , not all)
  • Few minutes later , take bade out and squeeze out water with hands extra oil will also comes out from bade
  • Always use fresh curd ,now take 2 to 3 bade in a bowl and add curd according to your choice that how much you want
  • Now,add pinch of cumin seeds powder(jeera powder) in bowl
  • Pinch of red chilli powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • And pinch of mint leaves powder in bowl
  • Now add tamarind chutney according to your taste, i have added homemade tamarind chutney or imli chutney you can also use readymade tamaring chutney also
  • Now, our dahi bade is ready to eat
